Behind the Voice

Hey guys!. Just thought I would introduce the person behind the voice of DJ Chappers.

I’m Mark Chapman, I’m 28 years old and. I have a condition called Duchenne which effects the ability to use my muscles. I don’t let this prevent me from getting the best out of life!.

I absolutely love Manchester United and have a season ticket to watch them win, obviously! I love going to the cinema and love going to gigs! On top of all this, I have achieved a masters in TV Documentry Production.

Although my condition effects my body, meaning I have lost the ability to walk, I have not lost the ability to enjoy all the things I love and am passionate about!

Music is a massive part of my life. I have a wide taste in music, which inspired me to use my transferable skills to kick off the BounceFM podcast. I came up with the idea during lockdown. I wanted to use my time to help myself and others feel good. It gives me and my listeners something to look forward to every week!

I have created many different themes, so that every taste is catered for, such as. ‘Movie Soundtracks’ ‘Covers?, Not Covers?’ ‘DJ Face Off (Feat DJ JT)’ I really hope you guys enjoy the show as much as I do! Any feedback would be great!
